The new, Hungarian version of the documentary short "The Life of László Hudec: in his own words" to be screened at the 43rd Hungarian Film Festival in Budapest.

The Life of László Hudec/Sanhaj Magyar Építésze, a documentary short directed by Réka Pigniczky in cooperation with the Hudec Heritage Project for the Hungarian exhibit at the Shanghai World Expo in China in 2010, will be shown for the first time in theaters in Hungary during the 43rd Hungarian Film Week to be held in Budapest between February 2-6.

From Besztercebánya to Shanghai: this documentary is about the remarkable life and career of a Hungarian architect in China 80 years ago – through his own letters, photographs and 16mm film archives. (For more information, look under our  'finished films' menu).

Screening times (Hungarian version):
Friday, 3 February (Toldi Theater) 12:45pm 
Saturday, 4 February (Urania Theater) 8:30pm (Csortos) 

The film will be screened in English at the Urania Theater for foreign guests: time TBA

Tickets are 600 HUF, and can be reserved via the Internet.
